"O great wonderworker Saint Charbel, who spent your life in solitude in a humble and hidden hermitage, renouncing the world and its vain pleasures, and now reign in the glory of the Saints, in the splendor of the Holy Trinity, intercede for us.
One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.
Lord, have mercy on us.
Christ, have mercy on us.
Lord, have mercy on us; Christ, hear us.
Christ, graciously hear us.
God, the Father of heaven,
Have mercy on us.
God, the Son, Redeemer of the world,
God, the Holy Spirit,
Holy Trinity, One God,

Blood of Christ, Incarnate Word of God, Blood of Christ, of the New and Eternal Testament,
Blood of Christ, falling upon the earth in the Agony,
Lord, look upon a little child, By nature sinful, weak and wild; O lay Thy gracious hands on me, And make me all I ought to be. Gentle Jesus, meek and mild, Look upon a little child; Pity my simplicity Suffer me to come to Thee. O supply my every want Feed this young and tender plant Day and night my keeper be, And every moment watch round me. Amen!
Father,
I come to this July 4th, grateful for my country and grateful for the men and women who gave their lives so that I might be free. I proclaim my allegiance to my country and total dedication to you, my Lord. Watching the magnificent explosions of color on this red, white, and blue holiday, I am reminded of my spectacular Lord and Savior who is great beyond my imagination. May the name of the Lord be praised and celebrated throughout our country on this our joyous national holiday!

God, Our Father, thank you for calling men and women to serve in your Son’s Kingdom as
priests, deacons, and consecrated persons.
Send your Holy Spirit to help others to respond generously and courageously to your call.
May our community of faith support vocations of sacrificial love in our youth and young adults.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the
Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Pray always in readiness to surrender, and you will receive from it great peace and great rewards, even when I confer on you the grace of immolation, of repentance and of love. Then what does suffering matter? It seems impossible to you? Close your eyes and say with all your soul, "Jesus, you take care of it". Do not be afraid, I will take care of things and you will bless my name by humbling yourself. A thousand prayers cannot equal one single act of surrender, remember this will.
Close your eyes and let yourself be carried away on the flowing current of my grace; close your eyes and do not think of the present, turning your thoughts away from the future just as you would from temptation. Repose in me, believing in my goodness, and I promise you by my love that if you say "Jesus, you take care of it" I will take care of it all; I will console you, liberate you and guide you.
O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything!
I perform miracles in proportion to your full surrender to me and to your not thinking of yourselves. I sow treasure troves of graces when you are in the deepest poverty. No person of reason, no thinker, has ever perform miracles, not even among the saints. He does divine works whosoever surrenders to God. So don't think about it anymore, because your mind is acute and for you it is very hard to see evil and to trust in me and to not think of yourself.
You are sleepless; you want to judge everything, direct everything and see to everything and you surrender to human strength or worse - to men themselves, trusting in their intervention, - this is what hinders my words and my views. Oh I suffer when I see you so agitated! Satan tries to d exactly this: to agitate you and to remove you from my protection and to throw you into the jaws of human initiative. So, trust only in me, rest in me, surrender to me in everything.
