A message from Bishop Noonan:

"Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.  We are called to assist our brothers and sisters in Venezuela who are faced with the loss of their loved ones, their worldly possessions, and economic livelihood due to the recent 7.2 and 7.5-magnitude twin earthquakes.  The death toll has risen to over 1,400 people, and there are still ongoing efforts to rescue those who are trapped in the rubble. We offer our prayers to all the families affected by these disasters and pray for the repose of the souls whose lives were taken."

Along with prayer, we will be participating in a 2026 Disaster Relief collection.  The official collection will take place alongside our Catholic University/Catholic Communication collection, the weekend of July 18/19. Please make sure to write "Disaster Relief" on the envelope so that it can be properly recorded and dispersed quickly. You will also have the option of giving to the relief online through our website and at any point this month in any of our collections, as long as "Disaster Relief" is written on your envelope.
We, as a community, will continue to keep Venezuela and all those affected in our hearts and prayers.
