God, on this Mother's Day weekend, we thank you for the gift of our moms and the special women he has placed in our lives. If you have lost a mother, lost a child, or pray for the day you can have a child, this can be a joyful or painful day. Think of Mary and how she loved and lost her Son.
If your mother is still alive, don’t forget that special call. She is waiting to hear from you. More phone calls are made on Mother’s Day than on any other holiday.
Mother’s Day can mean different things to different people. Ask Jesus to help you find peace in your heart for whatever meaning it may have for you.
