Announcements for Sunday,      August 30-31,                22nd OT

  1. Our Food Pantry, Cor Jesu, needs cookies, pasta, crackers, and canned fruit this week. Grocery store gift cards are always appreciated. Thank you for your support!
  2. The church office will be closed on September 1, 2025, for Labor Day.
  3. St. Teresa’s Religious Education program. Students will begin classes this Wednesday, September 3rd, at 6:15 PM in Avila Hall at St. Teresa School.
  4. This coming Friday, September 5th, St. Teresa school students will celebrate Grandparents Day at the 8:30 am Mass. All are welcome to attend.
  5. St. Teresa’s OCIA program will hold our first meeting on September 7, 2025, at 1:30 pm in the Faith Formation room of Avila Hall. If you are interested in learning more about our faith or if you know someone who is interested in the possibility of becoming a Catholic please try to attend this meeting. For further information, please contact the Faith Formation office..
  6. Altar Server Training will be held on Sunday, September 7th, and Sunday, September 14th, after the 11:30 Mass in the church. If you are interested in becoming an Altar Server and are in grade 3 or higher, you are required to attend these training sessions. We need of servers for the 5:00 pm Masses.
    If you are currently an Altar Server and feel you need additional training, please attend one of the sessions.
  7. Adult Bible study will begin in September. This fall will be "Luke: The Story of Salvation Fulfilled". Classes start September 8th, 9th, or 10th.
  8. First Reconciliation Prep Session for 2nd Grade Students (School and Religious Ed.) will be held on Wednesday, September 10th, from 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM in Avila Hall. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the Faith Formation office.
  9. Confirmation 2025 Class. Retreat & Rehearsal will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. The event will be held in Avila Hall and the Church.
  10. Italy Youth Pilgrimage for 7th graders through college. If you are interested in joining this pilgrimage to visit the Pope and would like to attend our information session on September 15th, 6:30pm in Avila Hall, contact the Faith Formation Office.
  11. Welcome to St. Teresa School’s Peace, Love and Lucky Knights – a 70s Casino Night! Put on your bell-bottoms, bring your flower power, and get ready to roll!  Join us for a night of funky beats, fab fashion, and high-stakes fun.  Whether you’re feelin’ lucky at the blackjack table or grooving under the disco ball, this throwback night is all about good vibes, great company, and groovy games.  Tickets are on sale after Mass or at the school office!
  12. This coming Wednesday and Thursday, the Priest will be at Convocation. There will be no Masses. ONLY 8:30 am Communion Service. NO 7:00 am
    Also, there is no adoration, confessions, or Spanish Holy hour on Thursday.
